I’ve seen a lot of friends take on Betfair, bookmakers and poker rooms and do very nicely. I’ve seen them turn £50 into £500, £100 in £1,000 and, in one case, £500 in £8,000. All very nice I’m sure you’ll agree. I’ve then seen the same friends get carried away, think they’re invincible and subsequently spunk their winnings up the wall in one or two nightmare sessions. It’s uncomfortable viewing, especially when those friends could really use that money for something tangible.

There is no target in mind but, needless to say, another monkey would be nice.
